Lunch at Daiei... I mean Don Quijote

Today's birthday lunch was deelishus. I had spam musubi, ramen, and a
little fried rice. Mama and Papa said their lunch was good too. They
had lemongrass chicken banh mi and spring roll noodles. More good eats
to come!

Smoking with Grandpa

Today, I helped Grandpa make dinner. I mostly watched while he adjusted the fire on his fancy smoker. He made kiawe-smoked chicken, and it was yummy. Mama said that Papa needs to figure out how to make it.

Genki SPAM.

Today we tried out the new Genki Sushi at 5th and Mercer. Mama and Papa saw it while we were driving away from our last sushi outing at Marinepolis and they said, "Ooh, we have to try it!". My favorite was the corn sushi that we ordered ala carte. Here is a plate of SPAM sushi, another favorite! Mama and Papa said the fish ones were pretty good as well. Davis, Juju, Aunty Irene and Uncle Farmer Fox joined us for lunch so that made it even more fun.

Train Ahead! or Behind?

Last week, we went to visit Ana and family in San Jose. As a treat, we
took the train to visit more family for brunch in Palo Alto. I loved
climbing up to the top deck and watching the world go by.

After the Pineapple Express, we cruised down to Waimalu Shopping Plaza and ate lunch at Shiro's Saimin, since Mama remembered that I liked it so much last time. It was delicious. What a day! Trains and saimin.

Pineapple Playing

Today we headed to the middle of the pineapple fields and the Dole Plantation to ride the Pineapple Express. It was great! I loved watching the different plants whiz by. Later, we had a Dole Whip, which Mama had been waiting a long time to have. At least we didn't have to wait at the Tiki Room at Disneyland.

My Favorite Meal in Hawaii

Mama and Papa made the usual stop at Rainbow Drive-In, and this time I got to pick something to eat. The special of the day was spaghetti with a weenie! How yummy is that? I ate almost the whole plate.

Oh, even better, Papa got a slush float too. Is that overkill?

My favorite new toy isn't really mine... it's Papa's. I like watching videos on it, but I have a little problem with the touchscreen. I keep hitting the wrong button! Maybe Uncle Rich Abu can help, since his company made some chips in the phone...

I am the lifeguard

This weekend was really really hot. I cooled off in my pool (after Papa patched it again). I am the lifeguard, I'm saving the fish. Mama could only take a picture after she convinced me to put clothes on.

I love our Wii even though I don't really know how to play things. Today I am learning yoga. The Wii fit machine says I'm underweight. If only Mama and Papa had that problem!

Huckleberry Hound

There are blackberry bushes where we walk the dogs each day. I like to fill up on them and Mama got enough to make a nice cobbler for me. Even Kimo got in on the berries! Papa was impressed that Kimo only picks the ripe ones...go Kimo!

Down by the Lake

We went to Austin & Shawna's wedding reception at a park this weekend. I'm wearing my casual Friday outfit, but most people were in their shorts and t-shirts. I enjoyed tossing some rocks into the lake.

Blueberries!

Yesterday we went to the Bybee Nims blueberry farm in North Bend with Auntie Reenie, JuJu, Aunty Michele, Jayna & Cameron. I really liked that it was by the base of Mount Si, I could see the big mountain! I liked running through the bushes and eating blueberries. It was a little rainy, but I didn't mind at all. Like my new summer haircut?

Happy Birthday to Mama

We went to Seabrook for Mama's birthday. It was great fun with almost all my Mar family. I loved going to the beach except it was very very windy. We ate lots of delicious food and got to watch a lot of tv. I keep asking when we can go back!
