Kina likes me, but sometimes she says I disturb her sleep. In case you were wondering, this is my "wilding" suit.

Wally's Chowder House

Today I had lunch at Wally's Chowder House, a favorite of Grandpa Brian and Grandma Hazel. Mama and Papa had the all-you-can-eat fish and chips and I had cereal and bananas. Life is so unfair.



Later we headed to the Des Moines Marina and Beach Park . Everyone was fishing for crab and small fish. The seagulls were zipping overhead and I watched the boats go in and out of the harbor. What a beautiful day!

My latest favorite toys are "Roll-a-Rounds" balls. Mama got me the "Zippin' Zoo Rounds" set, which also has a penguin, panda bear, crocodile, hippo, and giraffe. They go very nicely with the "Listen Up" set "Auntie" Amy and "Uncle" Len gave me (thank you Auntie and Uncle).

Today I tried on a bathtime visor. It works! No more tears. What a bargain - closeout at Target for $1.49. (Some parts of this image edited for content :)

Today I ate my first Cheerio unassisted. It was surprisingly yummy that way. I think I'm going to eat more of these little guys...

New nubbly

Today Papa opened a new ball! This one is nubbly, and smells like vanilla, which I think is a little odd.

Here I am with the winner of Stage 15 of this year's Tour de France! Pretty cool, huh? Mr. Hincapie was kind enough to have his picture taken with me. He was in town to help promote the Oregon MS 150 Bike Tour. Oh, and Mama, Papa, Uncle Butch and Auntie Marnie had really good munchies from the boulangerie (and so did Mr. Hincapie, I'm sure).

This weekend we met up with Auntie Marnie and Uncle Butch in Portland. It was my first real road trip and I was pretty happy. Here we are at the Mark-Spencer Hotel where we stayed. The grownups ate at Caprial's Bistro, I had bananas, rice cereal, a little happy screaming and a nap.

Mmmm. Tongue depressor.

These are my new teething biscuits, "Haihain" brand. They're made of rice and look like a styrofoam tongue depressor. But fun to eat, and yummy! Thank you Auntie Mel for sending the special delivery! If any of you know where to find these in Seattle, let me know!

Papa got me a new toy: ball ball ball! Oooh, it has texture. Pretty soon I'll be the king of the kickball arena.
