Happy Birthday, Mama!

Yay! Cake cake cake! I had a little bit of cake and ice cream, but it was past my dinner- and bedtime so I wasn't quite in my usual snacking mood. But it was fun to celebrate, and I was hypnotized by the candles. Oooh, fire.

Can you guess how old mama is? Hint: lsb is on the right. Mama and Papa are geeky, no?

What a View!

We drove up Mount Constitution on Orcas Island. It was an amazing view and a beautiful day. The island in the background is Lummi Island and is where our next trip will be.

Off to Orcas

Mama, Papa, Auntie Marnie and Auntie Jerolyn took me on the ferry to Orcas Island. This was really fun! I just wanted to run around the deck between the chairs and benches... and run outside to the mini-decks and scare Mama by going too close to the fence. I also liked reading the whale watching brochure (that's what I have in my hand).

In-Flight Box

It was hot yesterday, so we splashed a bit in my pool. And of course we got to play on the deck for a bit. Mama flew me around in my new pretend airplane. 

Happy 4th of July!

Look at my new deck! Papa (and Mama) built it during the long 4 day weekend. I'm having lots of fun playing on it. I only ran the Corn Popper off it once so far. Today I had my first grilled hot dog and I helped Papa pick raspberries off the neighbor's bushes so Mama could make raspberry tarts. I prefer picking them myself and eating them right off the bush!

Free Ride

I'm happy in my bike trailer, complete with toys, blankie and water. As soon as they put my helmet on, I scream like a banshee, then I fall asleep. Mama says I weigh a ton and its hard to pedal when I'm sleeping. We stopped during the ride to have Pain au Chocolat. I'm a definite fan of French pastry. Uncle Butch, I'm ready the next time to you come to Seattle!
