Is the Sharkie's Name "Bruce"?

Auntie 'Anya' sent me cool shoes now that I'm going down the big boy slide. Yay! Thanks, Auntie, I really like them. I even learned that sharks say, "Grrrr..." Posted by Picasa

Fun Dip

Here I am in my pool again. This weekend was very hot, so I needed to go for a swim. I was happy until I fell down, but at least I kept cool.

Hi!

My new favorite word is 'hi'. I say it to everyone. Most say 'hi' back, some don't, like Kina and Kimo.

Keeping Clam

Today we went to Ivar's in Mukilteo for lunch. Mama was reminiscing about her childhood days when the Mar clan would go to the Captain's Table. I got to have my favorite: fries and white chowder. I even figured out that dipping my fries in the chowder was the best thing ever. So good.

Summer Nights

I like summer because I get to play outside after dinner. I like to go for walks with the dogs in the backpack and walks up and down the street to visit the neighbors. Here I am taking a break from walking and playing to hug my Mama.

Milking It

I prefer a cup with no lid, but Mama and Papa prefer to not have milk all over the carpet. I like to tip this cup up above my head, hands free, 'coyote howling at the moon' style. Isn't that the name of a yoga pose?

Merry-go-Wow'd

Papa took me to the zoo today, and I was brave enough to ride on the newly installed carousel. I didn't ride on the horses, but we had lots of fun on the sled bench. The baby goats were another story...

Berry Good.

This summer I was spoiled by my neighbor Russ' raspberry bushes. I was allowed to pick and eat all I wanted. Now that raspberry season's over, I've been distraught. I point out to the street at the bushes, saying "baaa, baaa" (berries berries). Today Papa took me down the street to the freeway barrier and showed me all these new blackberries! I know how to pick the ripe ones. Looks like I have a few stored in my cheeks. Yum!

Anya on Lummi

Auntie Marnie and Uncle Butch and Cousin Marissa came with us to Lummi Island. We stayed at a swanky cottage, went on walks, the big people rode bikes and we ate a lot! We even got to pick a beet out of the garden at the cottage.

Auntie stayed the week after for work and I got quite attached to her, I even learned to call her 'Anya', my version of Auntie. I miss her, but I still like saying Anya, so now I call Kina 'Anya' instead.
