Last week, we went to visit Ana and family in San Jose. As a treat, we
took the train to visit more family for brunch in Palo Alto. I loved
climbing up to the top deck and watching the world go by.

Bowl of happiness
After the Pineapple Express, we cruised down to Waimalu Shopping Plaza and ate lunch at Shiro's Saimin, since Mama remembered that I liked it so much last time. It was delicious. What a day! Trains and saimin.
Pineapple Playing

Today we headed to the middle of the pineapple fields and the Dole Plantation to ride the Pineapple Express. It was great! I loved watching the different plants whiz by. Later, we had a Dole Whip, which Mama had been waiting a long time to have. At least we didn't have to wait at the Tiki Room at Disneyland.

Two ripe pineapples!

My Favorite Meal in Hawaii

Mama and Papa made the usual stop at Rainbow Drive-In, and this time I got to pick something to eat. The special of the day was spaghetti with a weenie! How yummy is that? I ate almost the whole plate.
Oh, even better, Papa got a slush float too. Is that overkill?

Pre-trip Fun
Here we are, waiting to board the plane for HAWAII! ... as I have been
telling anyone who will listen.

S'more Beard
My favorite dessert now is s'mores. I'm having a little trouble with
the oozing from the side, though.

"My" New Toy
My favorite new toy isn't really mine... it's Papa's. I like watching videos on it, but I have a little problem with the touchscreen. I keep hitting the wrong button! Maybe Uncle Rich Abu can help, since his company made some chips in the phone...
Mama is worried that the battery will wear out on our next trip to Hawaii.

Wading Pool Wonderland
I'm becoming a connoisseur of Seattle's wading pools. We've been visiting a different one each week. This week was Gilman Playground in Ballard.
Me Fit
I love our Wii even though I don't really know how to play things. Today I am learning yoga. The Wii fit machine says I'm underweight. If only Mama and Papa had that problem!
Huckleberry Hound
There are blackberry bushes where we walk the dogs each day. I like to fill up on them and Mama got enough to make a nice cobbler for me. Even Kimo got in on the berries! Papa was impressed that Kimo only picks the ripe ones...go Kimo!

Blueberries!
Yesterday we went to the Bybee Nims blueberry farm in North Bend with Auntie Reenie, JuJu, Aunty Michele, Jayna & Cameron. I really liked that it was by the base of Mount Si, I could see the big mountain! I liked running through the bushes and eating blueberries. It was a little rainy, but I didn't mind at all. Like my new summer haircut?

Rocks Away!
It was sunny again today, so Papa headed to another beach with me and Keoki. We went to Magnusson Park and we were the only ones on the beach! I loved the little rocks and made lots of attempts to hit the little floats around the swimming area.
Papa promised to bring me back to Kite Hill when there is enough wind for my kite.

Hello, Mr. Clam?
Today Papa took me and Keoki to Carkeek Park, which is a favorite because of the trains and beach. What else can a little boy ask for? Here I'm either tearing down my sand castle or digging for clams. I had fun with the other kids on the beach.

The trains were so close, we felt the ground rumble as they passed by...

Ferry Madness
Today we went to the Presby picnic. There was yummy food, fun games involving balloons, and general running around wild. My favorite place of the day was the beach, of course. I enjoyed seeing more ferries! It was low tide so we talked to the nice naturalist lady and looked at a baby Dungeness crab and little hermit crabs. Cool!

The Mukilteo Ferry

Today Mama took Keoki and me on a Ferry ride. I was very very happy. We took the Mukilteo-Clinton Ferry. We parked in Mukilteo and got to walk on the ferry! We walked off onto Whidbey Island, then walked right back on for a fun round trip. I liked watching the cars get loaded onto the ferry. Keoki slept in the baby Bjorn...Mama tried to take a picture of him too. I came home and re-enacted the whole trip with Mama's Fisher Price Houseboat. Toot Tooooooot!

I'm Trained!
To celebrate being dry for one whole week, I got to go to Red Robin. I'm not talking about being sober either. I had milk, mandarin oranges and macaroni and cheese, and I ate it ALL. Papa was wondering if they'd sing to me about being dry like they sing 'Happy Birthday', but they don't.
What happens at the zoo, stays at the zoo
Mama, Papa, Keoki and I went to the zoo on Friday. I've conquered my fear of the baby cow, so I can leisurely stroll around the Family Farm now. The only animals I wanted to see were the giraffe and the peacock. I spotted the peacock in the pygmy goat pen! Papa thinks I look like a Vegas showgirl in the picture...
Close Shave
Uncle Moo, Auntie Marji, Cousins Marissa and Marques gave me a Cars shaving set for Christmas. At first I shaved my tummy, but now I figured out that most men shave their faces.
Thinking Inside the Box
Uncle Scott and Auntie Courtney dropped off their range hood box last weekend. They know that every kid should have a large cardboard box as an office instead of an Ikea storage box. I just like sitting in it for now.

Loud Slide
Allez Allez Allez!
I finally fit one of my tricycles and at age 3 I like my bike helmet. Ana was able to cinch up the helmet straps so I'm safe. And it took Papa all of 10 minutes to get me going on the trike. Mama had tried unsuccessfully on the Batman bike since last summer. Now steering is another issue...

Toof Doctor!
Today I went for my checkup at Dr. Sata's. Papa said I was very very good. I hopped in the chair and let the hygeinist do a full cleaning. She read me three stories while we waited for Dr. Sata to check me out. Everything's good. I need to start flossing my molars because they are starting to touch together. I got TWO cars from the hygeinist as a reward.

I love my baby
I call Keoki, 'My baby'. I am a very good big brother. When he cries I sing to him '6 little ducks'. I help get a fresh diaper for him during changes. I tell him to open wide when he nurses so he doesn't bite Mama. I always gently pat him and give him lots of kisses on his little head. Mama said this is a Christmas card picture...

Easter Airport
Mama and Papa gave me this awesome airport for Easter. It has one of my favorite things in the world, a control tower. This adds to my Plan Toys collection. I guess they couldn't find this for Christmas or my birthday because the Plan Toys have become very popular. They use natural dyes to color the toys and they're all wood and presumably no lead.

Happy Easter!
Papa napped with Keoki on Saturday while Mama and I dyed some eggs. I was very good at it and didn't make a mess at all. We didn't make it to the store, so Mama found a Hello Kitty egg kit in the closet. I'm man enough to decorate some pink eggs.
