Lilypie 4th Birthday Ticker

I'm Trained!

To celebrate being dry for one whole week, I got to go to Red Robin. I'm not talking about being sober either. I had milk, mandarin oranges and macaroni and cheese, and I ate it ALL. Papa was wondering if they'd sing to me about being dry like they sing 'Happy Birthday', but they don't.

What happens at the zoo, stays at the zoo

Mama, Papa, Keoki and I went to the zoo on Friday. I've conquered my fear of the baby cow, so I can leisurely stroll around the Family Farm now. The only animals I wanted to see were the giraffe and the peacock. I spotted the peacock in the pygmy goat pen! Papa thinks I look like a Vegas showgirl in the picture...

Close Shave

Uncle Moo, Auntie Marji, Cousins Marissa and Marques gave me a Cars shaving set for Christmas. At first I shaved my tummy, but now I figured out that most men shave their faces.

Thinking Inside the Box

Uncle Scott and Auntie Courtney dropped off their range hood box last weekend. They know that every kid should have a large cardboard box as an office instead of an Ikea storage box. I just like sitting in it for now.

Spring of 69

This past Saturday was 69 degrees! I wore shorts, played in my sandbox, played with my water toys and best of all, had a picnic lunch in the front yard! Thanks Keila for lending me your table.

Pear Tree

I've been reading Richard Scarry's 'What Do People Do All Day?'. Harry Pig plants an apple tree, so I asked Mama and Papa to help me plant a tree. I chose a pear tree instead of apple because I love pears. All 4 of us went to Sky Nursery and the nice men bundled up the tree and jammed it in our Prius. Mama even got 20% off with an Entertainment book coupon. Maybe I can have the pears tomorrow?

Loud Slide

I've been having trouble keeping my outside voice from being inside after I learned the Inside Voice, Outside Voice song on Yo Gabba Gabba. On this slide at Wallingford Park, I got to use my outside voice AND it echoes! Mama calls it the loud slide, but I call it the tunnel slide.

Allez Allez Allez!

I finally fit one of my tricycles and at age 3 I like my bike helmet. Ana was able to cinch up the helmet straps so I'm safe. And it took Papa all of 10 minutes to get me going on the trike. Mama had tried unsuccessfully on the Batman bike since last summer. Now steering is another issue...

Toof Doctor!

Today I went for my checkup at Dr. Sata's. Papa said I was very very good. I hopped in the chair and let the hygeinist do a full cleaning. She read me three stories while we waited for Dr. Sata to check me out. Everything's good. I need to start flossing my molars because they are starting to touch together. I got TWO cars from the hygeinist as a reward.
